The Great Unleashing - 1 October 2008
We will be celebrating our Great Unleashing (launch event) on the evening of 1 October 2008. It will be at St Andrew's Hall, Norwich at 7:30pm. St Andrew's Hall holds 500 people, so please help us to fill it up!
Speakers at the Unleashing will include Rob Hopkins (who founded Transition Totnes and thus the whole Transition movement) and Dr Ian Gibson MP.
The central part of the Unleashing will be small-group discussions on particular aspects of creating a resilient Norwich. These are likely to include food, transport, buildings, the economy, waste, government, and Heart and Soul. These groups will begin work on developing an Energy Descent Plan for Norwich. Our hope is that at least some of them will develop after the Unleashing into ongoing Theme Groups. Please use the Registration page to indicate which group you would like to take part in.
Tickets cost £5 each.
Advance ticket sales have now closed. However, a number of tickets are still available and can be bought on the door.
