Meanwhile, Erik Buitenhaus has organised a "One Planet Living" theme group for people interested in reducing their own environmental footprin tto 1.8 hectares, each person's fair share. The idea is to exchange both physical resources and information to make this happen.. The group has decided to meet at lunchtimes, and hte next meeting is on 13 October from 12 till 1 in the seminar room on the top floor of the Zicer building at UEA (S7 on this map). You can contact Erik via his website.
Thereafter we urge theme group members to take responsibility for taking these groups forwards. This includes the options of creating additional groups, splitting groups into subgroups and so on.
There is also a great deal of interest in starting neighbourhood groups around the city, and additional groups in places outside Norwich. We will attempt to pull together the information we have about where people live in order to assist people to set up groups of this kind.
Please do ensure that your details are up-to-date on the Registration page so we can keep you updated of the developments you are interested in, without inundating you with stuff you're not interested in.
